Hiking on the Plose

Your hiking adventure starts with the Plose cable car, which will take you to the starting point of the alpine hiking area Plose in just a few minutes. Already the journey itself is an experience, because from the cabin you have a wonderful view over Brixen and the entire Eisack valley. Once you arrive at your starting point, you will be spoiled for choice between the many well-connected hiking trails.

Ideal for families is the popular family walkway WoodyWalk, with its many varied stations for playing and relaxing. The total walking time is only about 1,5 hours and due to the small height difference, this route is also suitable for small children.
The three peaks of the Lüsner Mountains – the Gabler (2,576 m), the Pfannspitze (2,547 and the Telegraph (2,486 m) – can be climbed as part of a 3-summit tour.
The incomparable panorama of the Dolomites reveals the Dolomites Panorama Trail, one of the most beautiful in the Dolomites.
The Brixner high hiking route, also known as Zirmweg, offers a great view of the Brixen valley.

On the hunt for the golden hiking stick

Well, the “golden” is invented – but a great souvenir it is in any case, the popular Plose hiking pin. In order to receive your award, you must either stop at the huts along the Plose route or at the huts along the Dolomites route and have your stamp confirmed. Once you have collected all the necessary stamps, you can pick up your walking pin by the lift attendant or the inn keeper.
