Located in the heart of Europe, South Tyrol is easily accessible by trains of the Austrian Federal Railways from Austria, the Swiss Federal Railways from Switzerland, and the Deutsche Bahn from Germany.
It is possible to travel overnight, for example with the ÖBB’s Nightjet on weekends.
With Deutsche Bahn, for example, children up to 14 years old can travel free by train to Italy. There are also five daily train connections between Munich and Bolzano and more comfort with the new ÖBB Railjet trains.
Bicycles can be conveniently transported on the train for a small surcharge.
The “Südtirol Transfer” initiative was launched in cooperation with the Silbernagl bus company. This service takes guests to about 11,000 accommodations in South Tyrol.
With our included guest card, the “BrixenCard,” all public transportation is free for our guests, making travel in the area a breeze.
You are welcome to apply for the BrixenCard before your arrival, so you can travel free of charge from Brenner to Brixen and possibly take a bus to the hotel.
Of course, we are happy to pick up our guests with the Clara Shuttle.
